I'm a Digital Intern at KQED with a background in climate policy and who believes the most important journalism still happens in person. We need reporters at city council meetings, on coastlines, and in coffee shops. After spending five years at the World Resources Institute working on electric vehicle policy, I left to get my master's in journalism at Stanford. During the program I explored how we tell climate stories in the age of the internet and how AI will reshape the way we interact with each other and our planet. I believe that journalists will continue to generate the information people need to make informed decisions about their lives. The interesting part will be making sure the information reaches them in our oversaturated, under-edited, online world.
